Björn Seidel was born in Germany. He studied social anthropology and economics. For ethnological research, he lived with the Mentawai in Indonesia, the Pygmies in Cameroon or the FraFra in Ghana. During his frequent travels throughout Asia, Europe and Africa he documented his impressions with a camera. Bjoern was a journalist and worked in development aid in Burkina Faso, the Philippines and Ethiopia. Today he lives in Paris. Björn rediscovered photography recently. He had expositions at photo festivals in Arles and Paris. He is member of the photographers collective x23.
